About our Agency:
Our agency opened in 2022 and is a growing team of four who are focused on building strong relationships and delivering excellent service. I began my career as a State Farm team member right after graduating high school, and this is the only industry I’ve ever worked in. That experience has given me a deep understanding of the business and a strong commitment to helping both customers and team members succeed.

We stay involved locally as a member of the Howell Chamber of Commerce and believe in being active and present in the community we serve.

We offer PTO, health and dental insurance, a Simple IRA with employer match, commissions and bonuses, and a $1,000 hiring bonus for licensed candidates. We believe in rewarding performance and supporting long-term growth.

Our culture is built around motivation and forward momentum. We’re looking for someone who is driven, eager to succeed, and ready to grow with a supportive team. If you’re motivated and want to build a career in an environment where effort is recognized and rewarded, this could be a great fit for you.

Location Address: Whitmore Lake, MI 48189

At Jared Trella - State Farm Agent, we’re here to help people protect what matters most. We take pride in serving our community with integrity, care, and real support. Whether we’re helping someone navigate a claim or personalize a plan, we believe in doing meaningful work that makes a difference. If you're looking to grow your career, help others, and be part of a team that strives to do good every day, you’ll fit right in with us.

Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and providing tailored insurance solutions across multiple product lines.
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly Property & Casualty production goals required to remain in good standing.
  • Proactively generate and follow up on leads to drive new business and maintain a steady pipeline.
  • Support daily office operations, including documentation, scheduling, and client follow-up.
  • Participate in marketing and outreach efforts to grow presence within the community.
  • Maintain accurate records and deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve overall office production goals.
Qualifications:
  • Active Property & Casualty license required at time of hire.
  • Life & Health license must be obtained within the first 30 days (completed while working in-office).
  • Proven sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding production expectations.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to confidently build relationships and close business.
  • Highly self-motivated, disciplined, and goal-oriented with a strong personal drive.
  • Comfortable working in a performance-based environment where results matter.
What to Expect in This Role:
This position offers a stable salary with the flexibility that comes from a production-based model. While the expectation is a 40-hour, in-office workweek, ongoing success in the role is driven by consistently meeting monthly production requirements.

This is a strong fit for someone who:
  • Has significant sales experience and is looking for stability over commission-only income
  • Understands what it takes to maintain high-level production month after month
  • Is naturally driven, confident, and motivated by clear performance expectations
This is not an entry-level role and is best suited for individuals who are already comfortable operating in a high-performance sales environment.
Compensation: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
